Mad Science

Mad Science

Mad Science offers a variety of camps for children between 6 and 12 years of age. Each camp is designed to engage active learning, promote inquiry based interaction with our scientists, and entertain the imagination. Our camps are comprised of structured curriculum and content, and incorporate various themes including: space, rocketry, robotics and robots, the environment, biology, kinesiology, and much more! We use simple, real world science techniques that allow campers to enjoy the Mad Science experience.

Our full and half-day camps deliver a fun-filled week consisting of: in-class discovery and exploration, outdoor games with physical activities, and hands-on exploration of the scientific principles being presented. Campers will be able to touch, see, hear, smell and taste what science is really all about as they play various games, perform crazy experiments, and participate in various demonstrations. To continue the fun at home, all camps provide an interactive take-home project, on either a daily or weekly basis.

A great place with highly skilled, kind, robot building scientists.  My son is fully passionate about robotics and Dr K., Bing and Tom are literally Boeing rocket scientists that know what they are doing and are great with kids.  They know deadlines, design processes, work flows and philosophies that are wold class and they pass that to the kids.  We switched from a school robotics program to Rolling Robotics so our son could compete on a championship team.  Even though RR won at worlds in Vex last year you wouldn't know by how humble everyone is.
This is a great place for our son to differentiate himself from his school piers.  For us, the only con is the drive.  We are driving from Tarzana to go there, and it is well worth it. --- Michelle K.
