Griffith Park Boy's Camp

Griffith Park Boys Camp is the best kept secret in Los Angeles. The camp offers swimming, hiking, arts and crafts, sports, challenge activities, campfire programs, archery, outdoor living skills, nature awareness, field trips, themed sessions for variety and special events to highlight each week. All programs, meals, lodging, snacks, equipment and supervision are included in the registration fee. One price covers all. 
 
Campers Age: Boys 7-17 years old are divided by age into cabin groups with no more than a three year age span (ages 7—8, 9—11, 12—14, 15—17). Cabin Leaders sleep in the cabins with their campers. The Cabin Leader to camper ratio is set by the American Camp Association. A Camper Leadership Training (CLT) program is available for boys 15-17 years of age. Campers age is determined by the age they will be on their first day of camp, this summer.
 
In order to participate in our program, a camper needs to be able to:
1. Move independently from place to place;
2. Meet their own personal care needs (i.e. shower, brush hair and teeth, etc);
3. Live cooperatively in a group environment;
4. Be able to be away from their home for several days;
5. As a parent, you must be able to let your son be away from home for several days.
