Cheviot Hills Recreation Center Camp

We offer Winter, Spring & Summer Day Camps. Dates vary but generally follow the LAUSD calendar.  Spring Camp includes sports, cooking, arts and crafts, camp games, Spring Fiesta, Egg Hunt, and more. 
 
Summer camp:
 
Our safe and enriching Junior Camp program focuses on fun, creativity and social development. Junior campers will enjoy circle time, music and movement, sports, arts and crafts, water play, playground Time and more. Hands‐on activities encompass exciting weekly themes. Campers are encouraged to make choices, use their verbal skills, make friends, and cooperate with others. All campers must be toilet‐trained to attend.
 
Our Summer Day Camp offers a variety of activities in a kid‐friendly environment. Each session our campers have the opportunity to enjoy theme weeks. Camp Cheviot activities include sports, crafts, cooking, team‐building exercises, swimming, water play, camp games, field trips, and Special Event Thursdays (where campers will dress up, perform skits, compete in group challenges and tournaments, enjoy a barbeque lunch and more). Your camper will cherish these memories for a lifetime!Field trips will be offered on Fridays . Our 3 and 4‐day Camp Cheviot options are available for those campers who do not wish to attend field trips.
