Camp Wildfolk is a project-based, child-centered, and growth-focused Day Camp for PreK- 7th graders (Guides-in-Training leadership program for 8th-10th graders). It's "old school" camp spirit, meets a modern, progressive approach to youth development. They are on a mission to help kids develop and nurture a growth mindset.
Campers are given the autonomy to influence their experience by choosing electives within each of the 3 daily activity rotations: Movement, Innovation, and Creativity. This provides a balanced day: active and focused time, indoor and outdoor, social and independent, etc.
They offer a variety of elective options to suit most interests and scale to meet the developmental needs of their campers. While there is flexibility with camper's choosing electives, there is also accountability and structure. Campers are grouped by grade in a "homebase" group, led by supportive Guides, ensuring campers are making connections and having the time of their lives at camp. Their Guides are role-models- joyful and compassionate youth development professionals that lead from the heart.
Beyond the wildly fun activities, Wildfolk excels in the HOW and WHY in which they do things. Camp is mindful and intentional- every moment supporting a deeper purpose to benefit camper's learning and growth. Camp days at Wildfolk are filled with special rituals and traditions that campers can't wait to return to, year after year.
Their Camp Intentions, The 7 C's, are ingrained in everything they do: *Community-Minded * Connected * Creative * Curious * Collaborative * Compassionate * Can-Doers * Camp Wildfolk is a hands-on, project-based adventure where kids teambuild, explore, create, innovate, and get to be a little wild. Let Loose. Make a Mess. Seek Joy. Be a Kid. Take Risks. Go Totally WILD.
Lunch is optional and will be provided for additional fee.

"There is nothing not to love about Camp Wildfolk. It is both old-fashioned artsy and modern (you can create a podcast or just draw)... plenty of outdoor water play on hot days and so much entertainment to keep young minds active all day. I have sent my son here for the last two summers, as well as spring and winter breaks. He still loves it and asks to come back! I am really happy with Wildfolk." - Rachel E.
"If you want a loving, fun, and educational experience for your child, Camp Wildfolk is the right choice for your family. They hire incredible staff that really care about each child. Our daughter blossomed at Camp Wildfolk, learning how to be more patient, creative, and open to imperfection in her work, particularly her artwork. You and your child will be so happy you found Camp Wildfolk." -Eli L.
"My daughter had such an amazing time at Camp Wildfolk last summer. Goldie Fox and her team are intentional and passionate about creating a world class camp that really embodies its principles of project based, self-directed learning. My daughter sang camp songs for months afterwards and will be returning for winter camp in December. She is beyond excited. The schedule is very customizable with early drop off and late pick up being an option every day and with great lunch delivery options! Highly recommend!" -Julia F.
"My daughter is usually very anxious when starting a new program but she relaxed right away and was really excited to go each day. Kudos to the camp leaders who are clearly passionate about working with kids and helping kids foster friendships. Both kids got to pick a few breakout activities that they worked on during the week like robotics, piñatas, sports, theatre and painting and got a chance to show off their new skills at the end of the week. My kids were kept busy and engaged all week - glow stick dance party, lots of physical activity, messy crafts, petting zoo, bouncy castle, etc. I loved them teaching me all their new dance moves and camp songs at the end of each day!" - Laura S.
