Camp Wildcraft
At Camp Wildcraft we grow creative, curious, confident camp; caring kids who feel at home in nature. We are small by design, a warm place where kids unplug from technology and connect to our camp community. At our two sites in Calabasas and Malibu, our adventurous art and nature camp empowers kids to discover the hidden natural world—and their hidden strengths.
During weekly sessions, campers create big art projects, explore and hike, sculpt with wood and clay, sew a pouch to carry handmade nature journals, build forts from branches, go on scavenger hunts, play games with new friends, and much more! Campers choose from a changing menu of creative and fun activities including theatre, baking, games in our sports field, and more. Every day at camp is an opportunity to find joy and wonder in the wild places around us.
We have two locations: the Sycamore School, Malibu camp; MUSE Global School in Calabasas.
Ages 5-14 at MUSE, Calabasas.
Ages 4-14 at Sycamore, Malibu.
Middle School Junior Guide Leadership Program at both sites.

After Care is $15 per day. It is an option that can be added later, if preferred.
RATES
- $565 per weekly session + one time $35 registration fee per camper (includes camp t-shirt). For Week 1 and 4 it is a 3-day week and tuition is adjusted to $340.
DISCOUNTS
- Sibling discount of $15 per week. Taken automatically in cart.
- NEW! Multi-session discount–Sign up for 3 or more weeks and take it easy and $15 off. Tuition adjusts to $550 per week. Taken automatically in cart.

My daughter (age 7) had the absolute best time at Camp Wildcraft. She attended the 2021 summer session and loved every minute of it, the morning hikes, exploring in the Santa Monica/Malibu Mountains, learning about the animals in the area but most of all she loved the wonderful community. This should not have surprised me because the camp creators and co-founders, Shari Davis and Benny Ferdman were available for any questions and conversations prior to registering for the camp. Day one the camp guides/councilors made every kid feel welcomed and special. You could tell they love working with kids and are passionate about sharing their love of nature. Every afternoon I’d pick up a very happy girl ready to tell me beautiful stories about the native plants, how she learned to respect the land and/or just something funny that happen during the day. As a parent, I could not ask for anything more. Parent Review: We first met Benny and Shari at a camp fair several years ago and within a few minutes of talking to them we knew this would be the perfect camp for our kids. They have gone every year (except the summer of 2020 because of the pandemic) and they LOVE it. Friends who enrolled their kids thanked us later for introducing them to this incredible camp. The kids spend their days in nature, hiking, learning, making beautiful art, laughing, making friends...my husband and I joke that we are jealous of them because we want to go to Camp Wildcraft! Another part of the camp that I love is that the different ages spend time together so my kids, who are three years apart, get to have bonding time here. This summer my daughter will be in the middle school junior guide leadership program and she is SO excited. Thank you Benny and Shari - your camp is so important to our family!
